Product Care & Maintenance

Expert advice to keep your furniture looking beautiful for years to come.

Fabric Care

General Care

Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent white cloth. Rotate cushions and pillows weekly for even wear.

Vacuum weekly using an upholstery attachment to remove dust that can abrade fibers.

Use a water-based cleaner or mild soap. Always test a small, hidden area first.

For Performance Weaves and Velvets, use a soft brush to restore the nap after cleaning.

Leather Care

Natural Variations

Embrace unique marks like scars and wrinkles; they are hallmarks of genuine leather.

Wipe regularly with a clean, dry, microfiber cloth.

Apply a high-quality leather conditioner (like Guardsman) every 6–12 months to prevent drying and cracking. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight.

Wood, Glass & Steel

Solid Wood

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. For oiled finishes, re-oil periodically. For lacquered finishes, use a slightly damp cloth followed by a dry one. Avoid silicone-based polishes.

Wipe with a damp cloth in the direction of the grain. Use coasters and placemats to protect from heat and moisture rings.

Use a glass cleaner or a blend of water and vinegar. Spray the cloth, not the glass, to avoid "silver rot" on mirror edges.

Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. To remove fingerprints, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner, wiping with the grain of the metal.

Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic liquids (lemon, vinegar) on marble or limestone.

Outdoor Care

Outdoor Fabric

We exclusively use Nuvella fabrics for our outdoor products. These are solution-dyed, making them highly resistant to UV fading and incredibly easy to clean—even with a diluted bleach solution for tough stains.

Will naturally silver over time. To maintain the honey color, apply Teak Protector annually.

Thermally Modified Ash & Oak: High-heat treatment makes these rot-resistant. Clean with mild soap and water.

Hose down regularly to remove salt and grit. Touch up any chips immediately to prevent oxidation.

Bamboo & Woven Polypropylene Rope: Clean with a soft brush and mild soap.

Outdoor Umbrellas: Always close during high winds. Ensure the fabric is completely dry before storing to prevent mold.

Rugs

Natural Fibers (Wool/Cotton/Jute)

Shedding is normal for the first few months. Use a vacuum without a beater bar for delicate fibers like Jute.

Highly durable and stain-resistant. Ideal for high-traffic areas; can be spot cleaned with standard rug cleaners.

Rotate your rug 180° every 6 months to ensure even wear and sun exposure. Always use a Rug Pad to prevent slipping and extend the life of the backing.

Bedroom & Comfort

Mattresses

Rotate your mattress head-to-toe every 3 months. Use a waterproof mattress protector to maintain your warranty.

Ensure all power cords are clear of the lifting mechanism. Check and tighten bolts annually.

Professionally clean pillows every 6 months. Wash linens in cool water to preserve fiber strength.
